Setting up a ‘Learning for Life’ Project    
 
Birmingham Churches Together Training offers free help and advice to those who are thinking about setting up a ‘Learning for Life’ Project in their community.  Listed below are some of the steps you may wish to consider.
 
 
   
  • Evidence of Need   Are there adults, young people or families in your community who need support to achieve their learning potential?
  • Your Mission  Does your church/organisation recognise supporting people to achieve their potential as part of their mission and outreach?
  • Learning Champions   Can you identify at least one person who is enthusiastic about learning and can, with training, support and encourage others?
If you can answer “yes” to the above then please contact our office  
 
 
We can advise you on the following:
 
How to set up a ‘Learning for Life’ Project and possible sources of funding
 
 
We can provide you with:
  • A specialist Skills for Life Tutor
  • Training for Learning Champions
  • Access to resources
  • On – going management of your project
  • An opportunity to network with other Learning for Life Projects
